I have started a blog for work.
So here are some kid pictures.

When you get overwhelmed does it ever slow you down??
Sometimes it has that effect on me, there is SO much to do where do I even start?
Hmm, maybe if I lie in the hammock reading a book it'll all just go away.
Laundry, cleaning, painting, work, cleaning, phone calls, emails, cleaning .
So that has been my motto this week. If you lay in the hammock with your books the work will disappear.
But guess what??
It didn't happen.
So I made finally shipped some orders today. Actually five!
Now on to the hammock, err I mean studio clean-up.
One of my favorite things to do in life is shop. Anyone that knows we well knows that :).
I love everything about shopping. The products, the merchandising and thrill of finding something you have been looking for or finding something that was looking for you.
I guess that is why I it makes since that I also love retail, helping customers, merchandising, packaging, finding the newest coolest products that no one else has seen.
I have done everything from working at Express as a intern, being a store manager for Ann Taylor, being a buyer for a specialty department store, having my own business both virtual and brick and mortar, to designing woman's and children's clothing and decor. In the last twelve years; since I graduated from college I have REALLY done all that.
My business has been the last six years, I gave up my buying position to stay home with Madeline.
But now I feel myself changing, and I haven't figured out what I am changing into?
More of a vintage/antique focus?
More of a women's focus?
Expanding into a national trunk shows?
I have all this knowledge and a true passion for shopping/retail and all that goes with it I just need to find my new niche.
But meanwhile,
I continue to shop.
